I've always been passionate about capturing nature's essence and bringing joy and wonder to people's lives. I've been painting since I was six, but my background in graphic design gave that instinct a professional foundation. Over the past 20 years, that combination has defined how I work. It's why a single watercolor rarely stays a single watercolor for me; it becomes a pattern, a surface, a finished design.
Why watercolors?
Watercolor is, for me, the perfectly imperfect medium to capture the world around me. I approach my work with curiosity, a hunger to keep learning, and a bit of playful snark that always comes from a place of love. In a world that can feel fragmented, I find real magic in the moments where art helps people connect with nature, with themselves, and with each other.
